Wesley’s passion for woodworking started at an early age. Seeking an outlet for his creative nature and realizing a need to work with his hands and an affinity for the qualities of wood, he started woodworking in high school. During his high school years he worked with his father, a veteran woodworker himself, learning the nuances of the trade. Upon graduation, he worked as a residential carpenter for several years, gaining an understanding of both intricate details requiring constant attention as well as the complex coordination required in the construction process.
Wesley and his father operated A.W.S., Ltd. in Washington Court House, Ohio producing high-quality commercial and residential millwork and furniture, furniture restoration, and all types of architectural mouldings and custom dimensional products. After his father retired Wesley opened his own woodworking shop in South Salem
